Vernon H. Gustafson

Vernon Holger Gustafson, 93, of Venice, Florida, passed away on December 15, 2020.

Vernon was born in North Easton, Massachusetts on July 20,1927. Vernon is predeceased by Irene L. Gustafson, his wife of 65 years. He is survived by his three daughters: Susan MacNevin and Linda Grulke of Venice, Florida and Janice Laakko of Framingham, Massachusetts.

Vernon was the proud grandfather of Kristen Bellinger, David MacNevin, Christopher and Karen Laakko, and six great grandchildren.

Vernon was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed music, gardening, and oil painting. He was a retired machinist with the Arthur D. Little Corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was also a

World War II Navy veteran. He was a lifelong member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in North Easton and an associate member of Christ Lutheran Church in Englewood, Florida.

A Funeral Service will be held at Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center Street , North Easton,

Massachusetts on Tuesday, December 22nd at 10:00AM followed by a socially distanced graveside service with military honors at the South Easton Cemetery, 473 Washington Street (off of Route 138).

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
