Obituary
Stephen Thomas Turner, Sr of Plympton passed away peacefully March 24 after a long battle with Dementia. He was 76.
Mr. Turner grew up in Quincy, graduating from North Quincy High. He was a member of the Army National Guard before attending Northeastern University. He then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk Law and went on to practice law in Hanson until he retired. He loved to brag that he passed the Bar Exam on the first try.
An avid golfer, Mr. Turner was a long-time member of the Country Club of Halifax, often playing in tournaments with his sister, Rachel Halgarth.
Mr. Turner is predeceased by his mother, Martha Turner. He is survived by his two children, Stephen T. Turner, Jr along with his fiance, Joanne Collins and his daughter, Christine Turner.
Mr. Turner will be buried on May 31 at Mount Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy at 1:00pm in the Turner family plot.
