Sandy passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness with her loving nieces, Jennifer Brown Burroughs, Kimberly Brown-Lynch, and Wendy Waldron, at her side.
Sandra Lee Conant was born on September 11, 1944 to Jeanette Conant (MacDonald) and Roger Conant of Easton Massachusetts and was a lifelong resident of Easton. Sandy was a 1963 graduate of Oliver Ames High School where she lovingly and enthusiastically played the part of school mascot, a tiger.
She is survived by a sister, Judith Brown of Easton, brother David Conant of Westfield, sister Pamela Cinelli and her husband Robert of Norton, and a brother Philip Conant and his wife Kathy of Turner Maine. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother in law Doug Brown.
She worked at Shaws for 5 yrs as a demo person, for the Easton Police Department as a crossing guard for 3 yrs, and served as a commissioner for the Easton Housing Authority for 20 years. She started a food pantry for Parker Terrace and Elise Circle residents. Sandy loved music, reading, gardening, helping others, and spending time with friends. She was very loved and will be missed by many.
