Russell Chapman passed away on June 26th, 2021 after a long battle with COPD. Born on August 24th, 1937 in Nashua NH, he later moved to Brockton and Settled in Easton where he remained for the last 50years.
He was the Loving Husband of June (Dodge), Father to Brian and Beloved Grandfather of Jessica Chapman, Alexandra Chapman and Nick Chapman. He is also survived by his brother Wayne Chapman as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by His Son Russell "Rusty" Chapman Jr, his Parents James and A. Rose Chapman and several Brothers and Sisters.
Russell was Once the proprietor of Mass Dispatch of Westwood and Retired from the VA in West Roxbury. He was Veteran Airman First Cl of the US Airforce, Member of the VFW, DAV and Post 7 American Legion.
Russell was a friend to all who had the pleasure of meeting him. He was very nostalgic, Loved old cars and 50's music. What Russell enjoyed most of all was his family. He was the Super Fan of all his children and grandchildren was often seen cheering them on.
Visitation will be held at the Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center St., Easton, on Thursday, July1st from 4:00 - 7:00PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 2nd in the funeral Home at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Relatives and Friends respectfully invited to attend.
