Russell Owen Brillant

Russell Owen Brillant of Wareham passed away peacefully at home on November 10th at the age of 65.  He was the beloved husband of Barbara Brillant (Schubert) for 46 years.

Russell was born in Boston on August 29, 1955 to the late Henry W. Brillant, Sr. and Barbara Jean (Glastetter).  Russell loved fixing and restoring classic antique cars.  He and Barbara owned Past and Present Auto Body  in Pocassett for many years.  Russell lived a full life and was a devoted father and husband.  After retiring from his business, Russell enjoyed spending time with his two daughters and grandchildren.

Besides his wife Barbara, Russell sadly leaves behind his daughters; Sarah Brillant, Tanya Brillant and her longtime partner Damien Fernandes, all of Wareham; his granddaughters: Hailey Newell and London Fernandes and his grandson Daevon Fernandes.  Russell was predeceased by his siblings; Corinne Stagnaro and Henry Brillant, Jr.  He is survived by his sisters:  Denise Lathers of New York, Candace Teague of MA, Lee O’Connor of Florida and his brother, John Brillant of MA.

Services will be private.
