On Thursday, January 7, 2021, Paul Josephs, loving husband and devoted father of two children and three step children, passed away at the age of 67.
Paul was born on April 27, 1953 in Boston, MA to the late Henry 'Hank' and Catherine (Burke) Josephs. He graduated from Blue Hills Regional Technical School in 1971, for architectectural design. After working for other established businesses for a few years, he started his own successful company of Josephs and Associates which operated out of Easton, Massachusetts for forty years.
In his youth Paul loved to play drums. A band he founded with his brother Jack, the Immortals, won in a local 'battle of the bands' contest. The late 70's Paul sponsored two vietnamese refugees and helped them establish their new life here in America, and continued their friendship and love till the day he passed. He had a passion for gardening, and almost all his plants were started by seed. Cooking was also a great passion. Though in possession of a full library of cookbooks, Paul always went back to consult 'Julia' for inspiration. He was a lover of animals and in his time raised and cared for dogs, cats, chickens and his koi pond. He was known for his kind, gentle, and compassionate spirit, loving and giving to all who knew him. He was a devious prankster and a skilled raconteur. He will be greatly missed.
Paul is survived by his wife Denise, his son Shaun and daughter-in-law Shannon Josephs, his son Michael and daughter-in-law Cassandra Josephs, and stepson Frederic and wife Joanna Norton, stepson Christopher Norton and Andreea Pop, stepdaughter Nicole (Norton) and husband Jeffrey Scannell, five grandchildren Abigail, Mason, Aliyah, Vincent and Carmine Josephs, his sister Clare (Josephs) and brother-in-law Michael Maitino, brother Jack Josephs and sister-in-law Jean, and brother Edmund Josephs and sister-in-law Nancy, his Aunt Irene O'toole and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
