Norma Clayton Watson, 94, a resident of Chatham, MA passed away peacefully on February 19, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Norma was born the daughter of James and Martha Clayton in Paterson, NJ on September 30, 1925. She was raised in New Jersey and spent a number of years in Palos Verdes, California before returning to New Jersey. She became the office manager of North Jersey Physical Therapy Institute in Midland Park, NJ in 1970. She retired in 1990 and moved to Chatham, MA to be near her grandson and other family members. Norma was a long-time member of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Chatham.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shirley Clayton Cook. She is survived by her son Mark Watson of Wilmington, N.C., her daughter Sally Watson Jones and husband Charlie of Rockwall, TX, granddaughter Megan Cagle of Monument, CO and her two children; Austen and Anna Cagle, Grandson Sam Watson, his wife Sarah and son Samuel of Harwich, MA; her brother James and wife Peggie of Bay Head, NJ; and many other beloved relatives.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in Chatham, MA in the Fall of 2020.
