MaryEllen (O'connor) Dean

MaryEllen Dean, 57, of Mansfield passed away at home with her family by her side on May 3, 2022.  She was the loving wife of 23 years to Donald W. Dean.  

MaryEllen was born in Needham, MA on July 30, 1964 to the late Martin John and Mary Ann (Connor) O'Connor.  She was a graduate of Saint Claire's High Scool, Class of 1982.  She worked for the VA in Jamaica Plain as an Administrative Assistant.  MaryEllen loved gardening, cleaning and Ice Hockey.

Aside from her husband Donald, MaryEllen is survived by her sons; Mark O'Connor and his girlfriend Adele Coimbra of Taunton and Patrick Dean of Mansfield, Daughters; Courtney Dean and Shannon Dean, also of Mansfield, brother; Patrick O'Connor and his wife Josephine of Weymouth, sisters; Ann Montagne and her husband Dave of Waltham and Noreen Sheehan and her husband Kenny of Marshfield, in-laws; Ralph Dean and his wife Elaine of Norton and Debby and Wayne Ainslie of Plymouth.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00PM - 7:00PM on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center St., Easton, MA.  A funeral service will follow on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00AM in the Funeral Home.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials in MaryEllen's name be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manly St., W. Bridgewater, MA  02379
