Marie-Lourdes was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti on September 17, 1950. She lived and stayed in Haiti most of her life and attended school there. She was married to Jadotte Resia and became a widow at an early age. She was the mother of four children who she loved very much.
Marie-Lourdes became a seamstress and loved crafting things. She was known as Lourdie by her close friends, and family members. She enjoyed cooking and making delicious dishes for her family and friends. In 2015, she moved to Florida to live with her family. Although she never had a paying job, she had the hardest and most rewarding job that is raising and providing with little that she had for her four children. She played the role of a second mother for her siblings when they were growing up. Marie-Lourdes was reliable and always ready to help friends and family when needed.
Marie-Lourdes had a deep faith in God. She died suddenly at the age of 71, on April 21st. She is gone now but will never be forgotten.
