Judith E. Anderson

Judith E. Anderson of Easton passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022 at the age of 80 years old.  Judith was born in Brockton on July 7, 1941 to the late Werner R. Anderson and the late Lillian (Walker) Anderson.  She was predeceased by her only brother, the late Werner C. Anderson.  

Judi was a 1960 graduate of Oliver Ames High School in Easton, Ma. She worked as a light machinist at Foxboro Company until her retirement in 1977.  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Mansfield.   

Judi enjoyed bowling, comparison shopping and talking on the phone.  She spoke often with her cousin Gordon Melin. Judi was very thankful for the Easton Counsel on Aging Shuttle Bus which allowed her to venture out to go shopping. 

Judi had a lifelong Pen Pal friend from Belvidere, Illinois for 67 years and after the years became phone call friends. Even though Judi’s entire immediate family preceded her in death, she was never alone. Judi had a longtime friend and caretaker in her cousin Elaine Anderson-Sears. During their 30-year friendship Elaine was a constant presence in Judi’s life. 

A Memorial Service will be held in the Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center St., North Easton, MA 02356 on Tuesday, May 24th at 11:00a.m.
