John (Jack) Case Obituary

John (Jack) E. Case Jr. 79, of Taunton MA, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully on Sunday, July 7th, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital with his beloved family at his side.

Born on October 26,1939 in Manchester, NH, he was the son of the late John Earnest Case and the late Laura (Chancy) Case.

Jack grew up in Manchester, NH and served in the Coast Guard on the ship "USCGC Castle Rock WHEC383" as communication specialist followed by a lifelong career in broadcast engineering. Jack worked at several television stations in Providence and New Bedford, he helped develop New Bedford's first television broadcast tower. Jack then started his own Audio-Visual Engineering Company Post Time Productions, providing jobs for many talented people. Jack designed and built several video production trucks for remote locations and traveled with his hard-working crew and provided closed circuit television broadcasting, race patrol, photo finish and timing for several Racetracks around New England and as far as Australia. Jack and the crew at Post Time even worked with HBO and various sporting venues. Jack also designed and implemented sports betting rooms at various racetracks and casinos like Newport Grand, Foxboro Race Track, Raynham/Taunton Dog Track, Lincoln Downs and others.

Jack enjoyed nothing more than celebrating life with friends and family. He was outgoing, passionate, always had a smile on his face. Jack enjoyed traveling to places like Africa and sports fishing in Costa Rica among many places. Jack enjoyed the great outdoors and sports. He loved playing cards and watching football. Jack loved feeding the birds and kept company with his favorite wild squirrel (Rocky) who used to sit on his lap. He loved gadgets and was technically savvy.

He was the beloved husband of Ramona (Mona) Stuber-Case. Loving father to Robin Berard and her husband Gary Berard of Rehoboth and daughter Tracey Case of Rehoboth. Grandfather to Leah Cook, Morgan Ruiz, Taylor Berard and Joshua Case and great grandfather to Trevor Hayden Jr., Keldin Hayden & Rylen Hayden. Jack was the brother to Carol Klardie and Birtha Raymond of New Hampshire.
