Jenifer Cherry (Taylor) Cametti

Jenifer C. Cametti (Taylor), 77, passed away on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 at her home in Easton, MA.  Born on September 12th, 1946 in Bournemouth, England, Jenifer had a love of the arts including literature and music.  She also enjoyed travel, languages (of which she spoke three), bird watching, English mysteries, and animals (cats in particular)! 

Jenifer’s love of travel and adventure took her from living in England to Belgium (where she met and married her late husband, Armando), Kenya, Nigeria, Italy, France, California and, eventually, Massachusetts.

She received her M.A. in French, went on to pursue a career in teaching English as a Second language and was affectionately referred to as “the grammar queen”.

She leaves behind a brother, Donald Taylor, and three daughters:  Sophie, Lucia (and her husband, Shaun), and Silvia (as well as her beloved cats and many friends and family around the world).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 at Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center St. North Easton, MA, from 1:00-3:00 PM with a funeral service in the funeral home at 2:30PM

Anyone touched by Jenifer’s kindness and generosity, humor and zest for life is welcome to attend to pay their respects and celebrate a life well-lived.
