Jean Alice (Chase) Langley 88, formerly of Easton, MA, passed away peacefully on Sept. 23 at Blackstone Valley Health Center, formerly St. Camillus, in Whitinsville, MA. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald H. Langley, and her son Paul H. Langley. She leaves her children, Kenneth J. Langley and his wife Gail of Douglas MA, Raymond D. Langley and his wife Jane of Falmouth, MA, Jeffrey J. Langley of Taunton, MA and Donna J. Thorell and her husband Rod of Clermont, FL.
A loving grandmother to 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, Jean also leaves behind multiple nephews and nieces; her sisters-in-law, Kathryn Young and her husband David of Bridgewater, MA, and Lizabeth Langley of West Palm Beach, FL.
Jean spent most of her days giving her time to her church, The Christian Missionary Alliance in Brockton MA. She was heavily involved with foreign and local missionaries, caring for their needs and supporting them in many ways; always willing to set up meals, events and organize activities. She enjoyed traveling, spending time learning about history, and had a passion to decorate for any and all occasions. She loved reading, music, crafting and crocheting gifts for others. Jean always had her bible close at hand and was a devout Christian.
In addition to her loving family, Jean leaves behind many friends and a beautiful legacy of giving. She will be laid to rest next to her husband during a private family service at Bourne National Cemetery on Cape Cod at a later date.
