Gregory Stephen Vanick passed away at home in Easton, MA On January 9th, 2023 from complications of Parkinson’s Disease. Dear Husband of 42 years to Juliana ( Alexander) Vanick. Son of Joseph and Mary Vanick, of Bricktown, NJ, both deceased. Loving father to 3 daughters: Kristen Frazier and her husband Robert of Bridgewater, MA, Karabeth of Quincy, MA and Kimberly Hickman and her husband John of Simpsonville, SC. Proud grandfather to Robert Anthony Frazier (3) and Emily Hickman ( 2 1/2). Brother of Robert Vanick, of Loveland CO. Gregory was the beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, “Steve” attended college at Westfield State. He fell in love with New England, and lived in NH and MA his whole adult life. In his married and family life, he lived in Dorchester, Braintree, and Easton.
“Steve” spent time as a Phys Ed instructor. He also worked many years for Boston Coach, a professional driving service. He loved sports and ran the Boston Marathon a for one year. Steve coached and cheered for his daughters athletics and so enjoyed rooting for the Boston teams, especially the Patriots. He loved dogs and always had one as a pet.
