Geraldine Wallace Obituary

Gerldine E. (Leonard) Wallace, 77 of North Easton, MA passed away after a lengthy illness on December 11, 2023 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was born in North
Easton, MA to Edgar W. Leonard of Middleboro, MA and the late Ellen A.G. (Carlson) Bousquet. Loving Sister of Karen Anderson, Judith Leonard and Joyce Ribelin all of North Easton. Geraldine
is survived by her husband Raymond Wallace and her son David Wallace of North Easton, MA. She is also the mother of the late Douglas Wallace. In addition, she is survived by two granddaughters; Nora Wallace of North Kingstown, RI and Maeve Wallace of North Easton as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Geraldine inherited the position of matriarch to the Carlson Family in Easton and around the country. The joy in her life was baking in her kitchen with her granddaughters and hosting the
Christmas Eve Carlson Christmas Parties. Geraldine loved all of her Swedish-American heritage. Geraldine graduated from Oliver Ames High School in Easton, MA in 1963. She graduated in the
1st nursing class at the Massasoit Community College. After receiving her Nursing Degree and becoming a nurse, she was employed for over 25 years with the Brockton Area Multi Services as a
supervising nurse specializing in mental health. Geraldine was a lifetime member of the Covenant Congregational Church in North Easton. There she taught Sunday School, served on
many boards and committees, and she and her husband served as High League Councilors for a number of years.

Calling Hours will be on Saturday, December 16th in the Peterson Chapel at the Covenant Congregational Church, 204 Center Street, North Easton, MA 02356 from 10:00am through 11:00am followed by a Celebration of Life Funeral Service in the Sanctuary at 11:30am.

A graveside Committal Service will follow at the South Easton Cemetery, Washington St, South Easton. Everyone is invited back to the church for a collation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of the Covenant Congregational Church, 204 Center St, North Easton, MA 02356 or to the New England Seafarers Mission, Inc., 1 Black Falcon Ave, Boston, MA 02210.
