Gerald Belmosto

Gerald Belmosto, 56, of Brockton passed peacefully with family by his side on January 29th at St. Elizabeth’s hospital. Gerry is survived by his father Cataldo Belmosto, children Jessica and Gerald Jr. Belmosto, and their mother Lynn Derochea.

Anyone who knew Gerry knew how dedicated he was to being a father and how much he loved his two children. He dedicated his life to caring for the elderly residing in long term care facilities. His love for Boston sports will live on forever in the stories he told of attending Boston Red Sox fantasy camps. His passion and love for sports ran rampant through his veins. Gerry was proud of his Brockton roots. He spent every night of his younger years at Maple Alleys perfecting his candlepin game.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
