George Sullivan Obituary

George Thomas Sullivan passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center on the evening of  May 5, 2022 at the age of 85.  He was the devoted husband of Barbara Ann (Farnsworth) Sullivan for 60 years.

George was born in Weymouth on July 4, 1936 to the late George A. Sullivan and Jeannie T. (Adams) Sullivan.  George and Barbara raised their family in Easton where he worked as a Custodian for Stonehill College for many years. 

George was a simple man who loved the tranquility of fishing.  He enjoyed sports and was an avid Red Sox fan.

In addition to his beloved wife Barbara, George leaves behind his two dear sons; Thomas and James Sullivan.  He is survived by his brothers; Daniel Sullivan, Harold Sullivan and his wife Judy of Weymouth, sister-in-law Truda Sullivan as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brother James and sister-in-law Pauline.

A short visitation period will begin at 9:30AM on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Evangelical Congregation Church, 351 Depot St., Easton, MA. A service will be held in the church at 10:00AM.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
