Donna Elaine (White) Mackey

Donna Mackey passed away peacefully at her home in Easton, Ma on October 18, 2020 after a long battle with cancer complications.  Donna was born in Norwood on September 18, 1956 to David and Mary O`Brien White.

Donna’s passing reunites her with her husband, Mark Mackey, her parents, David and Mary White, and sister, Patty DiStasio.

Donna Mackey’s two-year battle with cancer forced her to retire from her passion, her position as CNA at Charlwell Nursing Home in Norwood. Even through the roughest times, she always clung to hope that she would eventually be able to return to her job caring for others.

Donna is survived by her children, Brian Mackey and his wife Trysha of Easton, Marci Taggart and her husband Chris of Norwood, and Susan Mackey and her fiancé Steve of Norton, as well as her five grandchildren, Jasia, Kiley, Jack, Katie, and Emma.

At Donna’s request, no services will be held out of concern for the health and wellbeing of her loved ones. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Seasons Hospice at seasonsfoundation.org/donate.
