David M. Bradley of Middleboro passed away after a brief illness on January 1, 2021.
Beloved husband of Edeltrud (Mohr) Bradley for 51 years. Devoted father of Mike Bradley and his wife Lynda of Taunton, and Andrea Driscoll and her husband Tim of Raynham. Loving Opa of four granddaughters, Emma and Bridget Bradley and Haley and Taylor Driscoll, who adored him. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews in the United States and Germany. David is the son of the late Betty and Clyde Swift, Sr., of Middleboro, brother of the late Clyde Swift, Jr., and Nancy Swift of Carver, Suellen DeMoranville of Lillington, North Carolina, and Blanche Ellis of West Barnstable.
David proudly served in the army for three years, during which he was stationed in Germany and met the love of his life. He enjoyed traveling and spent many summers throughout his life in Germany with his wife and children. He also loved spending time at home with his family. David was a longtime member of the Elks and the Mitchell Club in Middleboro, where he liked to socialize with friends. He is a retired house painter who spent his free time painting landscapes on canvas, keeping a meticulous yard, and spending the winters at his home in Florida.
Due to COVID-19, the family is holding a private memorial. There will be no visiting hours.
